Coman Thomas a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse with over 20 years of healthcare experience across family practice, urgent care, emergency medicine, occupational health, and men’s health. He is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan.
Coman Thomas earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Widener University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Millersville University and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Thomas Nelson Community College.
Throughout his career, he has worked in diverse clinical settings including urgent care, emergency departments, express care, and occupational health. He has experience in both clinical and leadership roles, managing acute and chronic conditions, performing procedures, and emphasizing preventive care. He is also certified to perform Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations.
He began his medical journey in the United States Army as a combat medic and noncommissioned officer, where he provided emergency care in high-pressure environments and trained others in lifesaving techniques. This experience shaped his commitment to discipline, leadership, and excellence in patient care.
He is passionate about preventive medicine, patient education, and empowering individuals to take control of their health. He is known for his thorough approach, strong clinical judgment, and compassionate care, and he strives to build lasting relationships with every patient he serves.
